ISAAC Quigley is a Seattle-based artist whose acrylic paintings incorporate found objects, craft supplies, studio refuse, and heavy layers of collage. With Isaac’s art, the more layers that build up the more teeming it becomes. Though sculptural, drawing and form are essential, his process relies on an intuitive spontaneity that creates a messy and raw aesthetic. He uses materials to flesh-out a variety of landscapes and biological processes to help describe our relationship to our environment. The natural world he depicts is usually chaotic, bubbling, lustful, and fervid. Isaac has a Bachelors of Art from the University of Berkeley, CA. His work has been displayed in numerous galleries in California, New York and Seattle.
