Arthur Garcia has been active in the art scene in Seattle since 1980. He attended Central Washington University, studying the arts, concentrating in printmaking, painting, and sculpture. He has worked with various organizations such as CoCA, Fantagraphics, and Modern Glaze studios in ceramics. Lately he has turned his eye towards photography and inkjet printing.
